It's not really a matter of age; more a matter of practice and technique. When I was your age, I was at about 100-105 WPM; now I'm peaking 120 WPM. That said, I've been using computers (actively, at least) since I was five years old.

I'm in transition between typing methods and so I'm trying to improve my accuracy and speed enough to acheive, one day with hope, 100 wpm on at least one test. hello dear

I'm 21 years old, and a professional programmer (that means that I never stop typing) and my average speed on a normal typing day after warming up is about 75 wpm.
