166 wpm without errors or corrections.
This user seems to be legitimate to me, albeit insanely fast. I have finished tests with 100% accuracy before, it can be done.

Re: put out the an
Ads support sites like this. Sometimes they are annoying and/or offensive, yes, but if we had no ads we would have no 10fastfingers, unless you are willing to finance it personally.

Re: need a help with pressing L
It is recommended that the right shift be used for the left hand letters only. It might be worth trying to practice that way. I use left shift exclusively though, out of habit.

It sounds like a glitch that has happened to me before also - the test will suddenly finish before the time is up.

Re: What keyboard do you use for fast typing?
My truly ergonomic keyboard has cherry switches and seems very sturdy. On top it is compact. Have you considered it? It is hard to come by, here in Germany. What layout do our keys have? Staggered in a nonsensical way. The important modifiers are hard to reach. I could go on. Trying ergonomic keybo...

Re: Bad technique when reaching critical speeds
I like the comparison you made with the musical "slurring" of notes and typing sloppily. That is a good way to look at it. Like an instrument, the development must be two-fold: a sharpening of the mind, and an acquired agility of the hands. Your hands and your thought process are both link...

Re: Improving Accuracy
Thanks for the kind words, I hope that some of my thoughts can be useful! Great link, I had not been to that site before. I am a little puzzled at first trying to understand its exact usefulness. But I think it is able to show me which letters I am weak on. Have a 468 wpm top speed for the letter &q...

Re: Improving Accuracy
I would like to give a technical detailed answer, but I don't know of one. I think that a good deal of the right kind of practice is all that can help. Focus on training your brain, not necessarily your fingers. If you think accurately, your fingers will operate accurately. I find that some of my fa...
