Ok, is it a coincidence that this guy made an account and joined only one competition, just barely edging out my score? He has no history of typing, just that one competition. Seems like someone cheated on there just to make me upset (and it may have worked)!

Re: Cheaters
m Shocking disparity between competition scores and real ability. (at least one competition @ 146 wpm) And this guy m has been typing around in competitions for awhile with speeds in the 140wpm range, but his best speed is only 119wpm outside of competition. Look at his last 500 tests: there is an a...

Re: What keyboard do you use for fast typing?
I am used to a low profile laptop keyboard. It is also significantly compact compared to the standard - but it works well for my medium-small hands. I feel like it is very efficient due to its minimalism. Going back to a classic keyboard at this point is suicide because I am used to a light delicate...

Re: Exhausted hands
I am not an expert typer, but I can offer some simple observations. Do not type as fast as you can all the time - slowing down to practice for accuracy also gives your hands a break. Keep your hands in a relaxed state, which is more efficient. It might be that tense hands are causing you to be sore.

Re: Best typist in each language
Perhaps off topic - but I have been seeing some great speeds this week from some English typists such as Schollie, Paymon, and Russell Olsen. It is especially good to see Kukkain up over 200wpm today as well! EDIT: This guy named cokoyam is tearing it up. Easily typing 180wpm+, and he's not even a r...

Re: Anticheat
Congrats on typing so fast! I too had trouble with the anti-cheat test at first. As you practice more, you will become more consistent and soon be able to pass the test. There are unlimited attempts allowed, correct? Consider it more incentive to become better.

Re: New keyboard
I can understand what you're dealing with. Laptop keyboards typically have very little travel required to activate them, but most other keyboards take more pronounced pressing of the fingers. I am used to a minimal laptop keyboard, and to switch to anything else (even a mechanical keyboard) initiall...

Re: Best typist in each language
I was really surprised Schollie wasn't in this top too, so I looked for some explanations, and I found this ^^ Although, I'm sure Schollie isn't cheating, there's no point for him to cheat, but there's no point in debating for this again neither :p Interesting. I have seem similar jumps in other ty...

Re: Best typist in each language
I noticed that Schollie had posted 212wpm in English. http://10fastfingers.com/user/381242/ Check his last 500 chart.
