Wrists and keyboard turning
Hey! This is Jallis, and I am wondering about something. Today, I've been mostly typing with my left side of the keyboard turned towards me. While the keyboard is placed like this, only a centimeter or two from the normal position, I can type a lot better. However there is one thing that also happen...

This might be offtopic, but seeing someone doing a test with their nose would be hilarious!

Re: New "practice" mode
Hey, Jallis here. Just out of curiosity, could you tell us how far you've gotten on the mode and how long you would estimate it to take before it's out for us to try? I'm just asking, no stress or anything

Re: Typing tips
If you want to change to, well, let's say the homerow method like I did, you would have to force yourself to type slowly. This can be pretty hard for you, since you're as fast as you are, but in the end, it might just be worth it. You will have to type down to 10 words a minute for like 50-60 tests ...

I'm no expert, but as far as I've read some places, it seems like there's not too big of a difference between QWERTY and Dvorak in terms of speed.. The main thing that makes people so much faster when they switch is that they start typing the proper way, and this is what makes the change. The thing ...

Re: Cheaters
Just because he types fast he's not necessarily a cheater. Keep that in mind. You can tell he makes mistakes in almost every test he does, like everyone else.

Re: Who doesn't use "Home Row" touch typing?
Well, from the standpoint of converting, you're fine. In all honesty, unless you're going for a world record, you don't need to type any faster as long as you can reach 100 wpm easily. Of course, if you want to, then be my guest

Re: Who doesn't use "Home Row" touch typing?
I know this says who DOESN'T use the Home Row method, but since there seems to be very few that actually uses this method on these sites, I feel like I should report that I am actually using this method. I have also said on some other topics on this forum that I mean you should also do the change I ...

Re: Whats the fastest typist in the world?
I would say those scores are amazing, considering I am only able to get to around 80 burst speed in Norwegian and 70 in English. I would say the fastest would probably be Sean Wrona, considering he has done less than 20 tests on this website, and has already beaten the previous score several times. ...
