To type an apostrophe, simply move your right pinkie over. To type a comma, slide your 3rd finger down.
Thank you!

Any tips to help me go from an average of 50 wpm to 100 wpm. I usually practice 3-4 hours in a week and I have been practicing for a year now. My goal is to reach 100 wpm!

Thanks for any responses :D :)

Can you just do 1-minute typing tests over and over again?

Noob question about fingers and keys

Hi, I just started learning and I have 2 very simple questions :
A lot of time when I’m typing I have the feeling I could get faster if I allowed myself to change which finger types on which key for a short time.
For example if I write « three », I find it easier to type the r with the third finger and the e with the fourth, just for this word, and of course I come back to the basic position after that.
Another example would be « de », i find it slower to type it using only one finger than using two.
Etc...
Is that correct to « adapt » like this or do I have to force myself to always use the same fingers for the same keys ? What do fast people do ?

Second small question is what is the correct finger layout ? I found many different colored layouts showing which finger must be on which key and I don’t know which one is the « correct » one. I’m talking french layout here :)

Thanks !

Before I read that I always corrected my words. Since then I tried to ignore mistakes (its still hard to not press the backspace button if a word is "red"). I feel this improved my typing speed a little bit and if I would practice more regularly, probably a lot more.
