User 427474 banned.

@Bucko: Why did you delete your account if you had nothing to reproach you? I could check it and give you a rational justification. But now it's too late.

The account was up an entire day before I deleted it, ultimately I have nothing to defend myself, other than the fact that my high score clearly showed errors and corrections.

It's the lack of understanding, what happened is clearly you have seen a score, gone "nah fake" and deleted it, without any justification.

I'm not bothered, I wanted to know how the moderation works to avoid a future ban and quite simply its don't do really well unless its gradual.

You can't really blame anyone for getting 193wpm when you give me a word list of "cat dog go to when he how what who when all in a row".

I will await a further ban in a competition when the word list is amateur mode.

1. http://10fastfingers.com/user/432508/

Gets a high score of 72 over seven regular tests.
Then gets 207 and 183WPM in two competitions.

Bucko

Your posts are so full of insults and wrong and misguided statements that I'll only answer some of it. Most of it are repetitions anyway.

did one test and got banned a few hours later. Any notification? no, any justification? no, which is not surprising as it cannot be justified.

You did more than one round, and this is an easy ban every time. Here are the stats I managed to rescue before you deleted the account:

Two English tests of 193 WPM and 124 WPM. Five results in this competition of 135, 138, 142, 139 and 135 WPM. A competition you were not even close to winning, but should have won easily with your description of your capacity as a typist.

On what basis is this handled? all my stats in a T ornament and 24hr Ladder have been made invis? I average 135-160 norm and peaked at 193, and I presume this is on the basis that It's a new account? which if it is the case is stupid - Can you confirm.

Note - I have not been banned or reduced, just made invisible.

It was not based on being a new account, but on your stats. It's no problem fixing it if there is a complaint. But you opted to delete while in the midst of complaining furiously, creating a new account:

http://10fastfingers.com/user/432659/

This account, and the stats of the old one, does not suggest a typist capable of 193 WPM. I don't even see anything close to 160 WPM as you stated. I have NEVER seen a top typist capable of 190 WPM+ with these kind of stats over such a time frame. And there are very few of those to begin with.

This website and Forum is borderline Pathetic, what simple minders such as a few above don't realise is if you don't finish a test it doesn't count as an attempt, If I make a mistake in mine, I cancel out and retry as I'm only interested in what I can achieve on a good run - Banning people for simply being better than you is nothing but jealously, and if anything sad.

By your own account, if you only finish a test if it's a good run, you should get extremely high scores and not 120-140 WPM. Also, believing people are getting banned only for being better than others is ridiculous at best.

It's a great site, but really, a forum called cheaters where people point out players with a bizzare spike in wpm? is this really how far intelligence stretches.

You are a new user and have no idea about the cheating problem on this site. But I'm not going to question your intelligence because of it.

I'm not going to bother with a long reply again as clearly you don't read half of it.

Clearly what we can establish from this is that your system is broken, because someone incapable of getting 193wpm achieved it, and got banned because of your mistake, can you admit this? I'll answer in advance to save time and let you say no, which ultimately leaves us with one conclusion, I am lieing. well I'm glad we've finally concluded this.

I'm not arguing this further, congratulations. I will go elsewhere, thanks for the hospitality.

P.s
I have NEVER seen a top typist capable of 190 WPM+ with these kind of stats over such a time frame.
- Because 7 tests over 4 hours was a gigantic time frame, during work hours, unbelievable effort.

Yes, you have been flat out lying and spreading false information while going over the top with your insults, so I have no interest in discussing with you. The site has had many requested and important upgrades during the last year, and there are more to come. But there is always room for improvement, so any suggestions from rational users are more than welcome.

For the record, your new profile was not banned, but again you deleted it.

Here are the stats for this profile, all in English:

10 tests of 139, 136, 130, 142, 131, 143, 140, 126, 133 and 133 WPM.

Eight public competitions:

http://10fastfingers.com/competition/5248f1f7a854f/ - 135 WPM
http://10fastfingers.com/competition/5248f3dc313ac/ - 136 WPM
http://10fastfingers.com/competition/52496b2dd31b9/ - 137 WPM
http://10fastfingers.com/competition/5249772e185c9/ - 133 WPM

You are done, your last post has been deleted. You crossed the line, and you know it.
It's time to move on from this nonsense.

Not positive, but does this guy pass the cheat detection?

http://10fastfingers.com/user/435217/

Just making sure I'm losing to valid typists. Thanks!
