Hi,

I thought i could get an easy achievement by doing a typing competition nobody participates on in Armenian with the help of a few friends! I'm not really the cheater type and was experimenting if it was possible to unlock those achievements the fast and easy way. Of course i should have known better. I made a mistake and I guess there is no way to justify i was not cheating. I was wondering if there was a way for me to get a second chance and get unbanned? My user ID is 1000652. I really love your site and would love to continue to use it. It would be a pain to create a new account since I've come so far... please don't ban me forever, i promise i will never try to cheat the system again!

PS: By the way, the achievement type "1 Competition won" i currently hold is still in your Achievements database-table. That table entry should also get removed as that was also achieved through the same cheat.

Hello,

You are only half honest when you talk about the help of "friends". You have created at least 4 accounts in addition to yours, in order to win in several competitions. This is a double fault since multiple accounts and cheating are prohibited. Moreover, to claim that these accounts are friends while they have the same name as you, is pure lie:

When your first accounts began to be banned, you brought in new ones, still in the hope of gaining victory, despite the visible action of moderation.

All this confirms that there is a clearly premeditated project and that you knew perfectly well what you were doing. Lying, even by omission, will be of no use to you.

Hello, I was wondering if I could be pardoned for my ban. I cheated during three races over a year and a half ago (February 2016) out of solely boredom. I was banned several months ago apon unlocking one of the cheated tests, assuming it wouldn't matter because it wouldn't show up on my graph from being so long ago. All of my races since the cheated three are legit, and have been proven as such (My best since has been 130, which I have on video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnR_7xmuVww). I wouldn't consider it an issue if I could simply create another account, but I only have access to my school laptop, and due to restrictions placed by the school administrator I am unable to create or access other accounts, forcing me to use my banned one.

This topic is intended to spot cheaters, this is not the place for unban requests.

Locked cheated results is still considered as cheating. So you can be banned, even if locked. Unlocking later, legitimately or not, doesn't make cheating any less serious.

The date of cheating doesn't matter either. Whether it's recent or a long time ago, it's still cheating. Some have been banned for years and remain so. Others cheated a long time ago and are banned several years later. For moderation, it's the same thing at the end: cheating.

You say you can't use another account, but you have already been able to create another one, 6 months ago (before your ban) and you used it.

An account with cheated results can't be unbanned, for obvious reasons. Moderators don't have the permission to remove scores. Your only remedy is to contact the administrator (see the "Contact" link of the site) and ask him if he agrees to delete your cheated scores and then unban you.

Thank you very much for your response.. Yes you are totally right, i cannot and will not deny it. i'm really sincerely sorry, and i already did promise i will not cheat again. Please don't ban my account forever, i can assure you i have no more intention of cheating my way through the system because it doesn't make any sense anyway as i am here to improve my typing skills. Please give me a second and one last chance to prove myself...

I lost access to that account when they blocked the ability to log in and out of accounts linked to emails other than my school email. I'll contact the admin, and I apologize for the misuse of this thread.

Suspicious jump from 110-120 to 141, although most of the ~110 tests seem to be from several years ago, so he could've just improved in that time through external practice.
