A big bully and a small nerd run into each other in the school hallway before lunch.
Bully. Hey nerd. Are you ready to give me your lunch money.
Nerd. No please not today. I need this money in order to get to my chess tournament tonight. This is a very important occasion for me. Chess is my passion just like football is your passion.
Bully. Yes but that’s different. I’m the captain of the football team. My coach even told me that I am the best athlete that he has ever seen on the field. You are not nearly as good at chess as I am at football.
Nerd. That’s not true. I am amazing at chess. Last competition I won a bronze medal.
Bully. Ha ha ha. You are happy with coming in third place. Do not even compare yourself with me. I am the best player in the league. I basically have been given every trophy there is and just last game I scored five goals. I even kicked the ball so hard that I knocked the goalkeeper over. He got such a big bruise from the kick that he had to go to the hospital. His hospital bill ended up being so expensive that his family had to sell their family business just to pay for it. And do you know who they sold their business to.
Nerd. No who.
Bully. They sold it to me. Now I provide an excellent service to all of their customers.
Nerd. Which kind of business is it.
Bully. I sell swimsuits to both men and women of the highest quality. My company has built such a strong reputation with the surfing crowd that has been our new target market. But anyway I will still take your lunch money because I despise you you pathetic loser.
Nerd. No. Please can I keep my money today. I really need it to get to my chess tournament. If I don’t compete in this one then I can never make it to the National Championship. It’s my dream please.
Bully. Nope. Don’t care. Trust me I am doing you a favor. You were going to lose in that tournament anyway.
The bully takes the nerd’s money pushes the nerd down to the ground and walks away.
