Dear Sir,
I am a student going to Scotland to study at the University of Edinburgh next month. I am planning to have a three-day tour in London on my way to Scotland. I am writin to ask your advice about my staying plan in London.
I will arrive in London on September 20 and leave for Ediburgh on the nigh of Septem -ber 22, so I need to stay in London for two nights. I would like to see as much London as pos-sible. But as a student, my budget is limited. I just simply like to have a place to sleep in plus breakfast. To my condition, public transport would suit me. I am eager to take that famous double-deck red London bus, and travel on well- known London Underground. I was told public transportatioin system in London is one of the best in the world. I do wish to see it with my own eyes.
I would be gratefull if you could send me some information about accommodation, sightseeing and transport facilities in London, based on my particular situation. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
