A writer might feel compelled to write about literature for different reasons. People write to express their feelings or in some case it could be a way of making a living. No matter why you write the intellectual demands will vary when you write. Clugston (2014) states, "The level of intellectual demands will vary because writers have very different purposes when they write". This benefits us personally by being able to draw the readers into what we are writing. I hope that in this class I will be able to better writer. This is something that I have needed improvement in for some time. At the end of the class, I want to be able to write about my personal life experiences and be able to take my readers on a personal journey with me. I want readers to understand where I'm coming from.
