Once upon a time, there was a princess. The princess was going to a mermaid's house. She had to swim under the sea. When she went underwater, she grew a tail and had a shell. She was now a mermaid! She started to do under the sea work. Her work was like cleaning up things and stuff. She had to do everything like Cinderella. She she decided to leave the sea and move to the forest. She was scared in the forest but she was happier when she found a light. The light made her not be scared anymore. She heard music. The music was coming from a cute little door. So she went in the door. And then, she saw a singing octopus in the door and he said, "Hi!"
She was scared of the octopus, even though he was nice, so she ran away from him. He followed the girl into the forest to tell her that he was a nice octopus. He started making music again to make the princess happy. Someone else came and was with the princess, too. It was a big magical flower with a face. The flower started walking around with the princess.
The flower told the princess that she could have one wish. So, the princess wished for a lot of toys! Right in front of her, a big pile of toys appeared. She was so happy. She wanted to show her mom, dad, and new baby sister. Everyone was so happy to see the talking flower and all the toys. The octopus played with them, too.
And that's it for my story. The end.
(Story told to me verbally by my 4 year old daughter while I typed. Whew!)
