There was a boy who viewed the world in a different way than kids in his age did. Peter, his name, was ten years old and he has always been dreaming about colors. "Green is a purity that people ignore!" He used to say. Indeed, it was hard to understand him. He loved nature and thought of people as a disaster that destroyed the purity. What a wonderful kid. Besides this, he was very content and smiling from ear to ear. But one night Peter will never forget. It was the last day of his certainty.
He was lying in his bed covered in blankets and ready to leave the place full of darkness and fly to place full of colors. But before that, he asked his beautiful mother who just finished a lovely book that every night gets little attention. "Mom, how did you meet my dad?"
"Well, Peter, it was a long time ago," she said and put the book back on a shelf, right next to a plushy blue elephant. "I was sitting on a bench and enjoying the birds' symphony when a handsome guy smiled at me."
"That was my father, right?"
"Sure it was me, Peter!" Said his dad who just entered the room.
"And I looked deeply into his eyes and saw something marvelous!"
"What did you see, mom?"
"I saw a man holding a rainbow rose on a lonely road."
"A rainbow rose?" He asked.
"Yes, a rose of many colors," Father answered.
"That's correct, and the rose - that was me."
"And who was my dad?"
"Your dad was a prince of the rainbow."
"Prince who rules the land between Earth and Heaven!" She added.
"Anyway, it is too late. Good night, Peter!" Said his mom and kissed him on his cheek."
"Good night!" He replied.
The light was devoured by warm darkness, and Peter closed his tired eyes.
"Wait!" He said suddenly. "Who am I then?"
