Mumbai. Singer Sonu Nigam who recently shaved his head after being threatened by a Muslim cleric did not get 10 lakh rupees as he had expected, but instead got over 10 lakh (and counting) emails, SMS, phone calls etc. from legendary spammer Dr Batra. The messages reportedly started pouring immediately after the last strand of hair fell from Sonu's head.
The messages claiming to treat baldness flooded the notifications tab of Sonu Nigam as he caught hold of his phone to click a post shave selfie.
The notifications just didn’t stop. First I thought those must be friendship requests from the likes of Raghu Ram, Anupam Kher, Manish Sisodia, Vin Diesel etc., but they were a visibly irritated Sonu recalled. Those who say speed of light is fastest and nothing can travel faster than it have surely never had the misfortune of getting mails from Dr Batra.
