That the above mentioned case was registered on the basis of complaint lodged by respondent No.2 at Police Station Tabassum Shaheed, District Rahimyarkhan against the petitioner. Copy of the FIR is attached herewith
That the petitioner applied for his pre-arrest bail before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Liaquatpur, which petition was dismissed vide order dated 05-04-2017. Copy of the order dated 05-04-2017 and memo of bail petition are attached herewith
That the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been involved in this case, the petitioner seeks for his pre-arrest bail before this Hon’ble court, inter-alia on the following
GROUNDS
That there are no reasonable grounds to believe that the petitioner has committed any offence.
That actually, the alleged abductee Mst. Faiz Bibi with her free will and consent, contracted marriage with the petitioner and started living and performing matrimonial obligations in the house of petitioner. Copy of marriage certificate is attached herewith.
That all the witnesses of FIR are closely related to the complainant and no independent witness from locality supported the version of complainant.
That the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence and the above mentioned criminal case has been registered against the petitioner with malafide intention.
That the petitioner is a respectable and law abiding citizen and the local police is behind the petitioner for his arrest and if they succeeded, the petitioner would suffer an irreparable loss.
