Speed
In order to practice typing, I will spend at least one hour a day in front of the computer. I will do timed practice tests as I try to improve my typing speed and accuracy. I have started with an average speed of about 50 words per minute and hope to get my speed up to 70 words per minute soon. I have difficulty typing numbers by touch, although I have touch typing skills for the rest of the keyboard. Unfortunately, I used to be employed as a payroll clerk and got in the habit of always using the number pad for entry since I had so much numerical data to key every day. I want to design some more practice paragraphs because just typing random words gets fairly boring rather fast.
