It was dark. Dark as a cup of hot chocolate. A man who was wearing an old brown hat was just about to return to his small flat. Nothing special today. Just some small cases, some little thefts, and one prostitute who came to his office to report a rape. "Mr. Jefferson, it is true, I was resisting, but that dude was something else!" he recalls. "That may be true, lady Misson," Jefferson said, "but you shouldn't have asked for money beforehand!" As he walks home, he shakes his head and laughs at lady Misson's super convincing arguments. She should be a lawyer, he thought. Lights on, door closed and locked. "Hi, honey, I'm home!" Jefferson said and put his thick coat on a hook. His voice was echoing across the flat and arrived all the way to the kitchen. "Hey, Jimmy, come, the dinner is ready!" The kitchen was very small. Three chairs, one round table, and some kitchen appliances. "Hi, dad!" said a little boy in green pajamas. "Look at you, Adam, you're ready to sleep?" Jimmy said and smiled. "Yeah, some people have to sit in the office, some people, like me, have to go to school," he said sadly. "Well, one day you will wish to come back to school, do not worry." "I am not sure about that dad!" Adam replied. "Well, just wait!" Nothing but empty plates remained on the table. "Oh, the pasta was delicious, honey!" "Glad you liked it! I bet you've been busy today, right?" Elisabeth asked and put the plates in the dishwasher. "Yes, the whole freaking day.." "Language, Jimmy!" She interrupted him. "Huh? Ah, sorry. It's just been a long day!" Adam was already in his bed and thought about what happened today. Why did he kiss him? Why? "I kinda like you!" He remembers Peter saying. "What do you mean you "kinda" like me? He was thinking. A little tear fell on the wooden floor. "It's gonna be alright. Tomorrow is a new day; Peter definitely forgot this all," Adam comfort himself.
