So, first of all, they get all mushy and start making nasty noises then when you take one of them out the cage the female starts making some noises and the male flies all the way from the place you took him no matter what even if you cut off his wings he still does it. Also if you get both of them and take them somewhere the girl will probably fly away and the male will follow. on the bright side they will have babies so if you can ignore the annoying nasty noises get them both. So yeah I do not recommend getting them both(how I know this is because I have female and male parakeets at my house) Wait they also make you go >:(
