Patna: The alleged mistrust between JD (U) and BJP came into sharp focus once again when it was revealed that the state government was collecting information on office bearers of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) and 18 other organisations.Special Branch Department’s police superintendents in his letter dated May 28 had directed all deputy police superintendents and others officers of the special department to submit a report on office bearers of RSS, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajarang Dal, Hindu Jagaran Samiti, Dharm Jagaran Samanvaya Samiti, Muslim Rashriya Manch, Hindu Rashtra Sena, Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, Shiksha Bharati, Durga Vahini, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Bharatiya Railway Sangh, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sangh, Akhil Bharatiya Shikshak Mahasangh, Hindu Mahasabha, Hindu Yuva Vahini and Hindu Putra Sanghathan within one week.With the revelation, state politics went on an overdrive for one more time.BJP leaders strongly objected to the state government’s move. Leaders of Chief Minister led JD (U) were, however, reluctant to speak on the issue apparently to avoid any adverse impact of it on the relationship between two ruling allies.

(UNI) A car driver was beaten to death when his speeding vehicle claimed lives of three children in Kumharar locality under Agamkuan police station area here today.Police said that the car hit four people on the roadside in Kumharar locality when its driver lost control over his vehicle due to high speed resulting in the death of three of them on the spot. The another person was also seriously injured in the mishap.
Sources said local people assembled at the spot and dragged out car driver and another occupant from the vehicle. The car driver was badly beaten by the mob leading to his death while another person also sustained serious injuries in the assault.
