Compared to other countries, my native country Sweden has very minimal restrictions. People don't wear masks and the citizens of Sweden acts just as if the global pandemic isn't even there. Many schools however don't take this virus lightly and has recently closed down again because of a second wave and now I'm back to being in front of my computer all day while half asleep listening to the teacher speaking for a full 60 minutes non-stop. One of the biggest downside with having online classes is the boredom you get from just a couple of minutes or maybe even an hour of a lesson. The classes are usually very non-interactive and I don't get the motivation of actually trying to study. My life becomes duller (I don't know if this is a word by lets keep going) after each day. I feel miserable and dummer by the second. It's as if all the emotions in me disappears and all the enjoyment have left. I'm current in my last year of senior high school and will soon be on the road to university. Aside from the fact that it gets very demotivating by having to study at home all day, there are some benefit to being home all day with more time. The most beneficial thing that I got from this quarantine is that I taught myself to touch type. About a month ago I used to look up and down whenever writing texts using the keyboard. It's not so bad if you are writing short texts but when writing essays for example, your neck will start to hurt by the constant looking up and down. On top of that because of my short term memory (which I feel like I have) some of my ideas in my head when writing will disappear because I type so slow. But because I learned to touch type I countered this and could get all of my ideas and thoughts out in a much quicker manner. There are just so many benefits to touch typing that I would recommend people who type a lot to learn. The year of 2020 has been THE worst year by FAR which has not only impacted me, not only people in a small scope but ALL people in mostly a negative way. People suffers and works their asses of day in and day out in order to survive this pandemic. The economy and education is going down hill. Every thing is going down hill. Lets hope that the next year will get much better than this and be sure to stay safe out their. Good Luck!
