Dear Someone,
Wishing I could pour my soul out to you, but the words I want to use are either swarming noisily in my head, or seem inappropriate to share. Though it may not seem like it, I'm trying to respect your boundaries, but I also want to fight for what I love. Your voice and your face haunt me. You are a kind, sweet soul. Your honesty is something that I can appreciate, and I wish to return it. I love you. I love hearing your smile, your laugh. I'm thankful to have met you. I'm confused about the future, but I'm glad to have you in it. You make me feel comfortable in a way that is hard for most to do. It's nice to be myself around you. Hopefully, I can return the favour by lending my ear to you, and supporting you the best that I can. I feel like I've conveyed this now clearly and fervently to you, but it's still built up inside me. It seems that I'm repeating myself, and I feel like I'm going insane for saying the same sorts of things as if the result is going to be any different. Yet, I know you have similar feelings to my own. Oh, how I wish I could grab ahold of you and cherish you forever--but, alas, I will have to settle for the memories I have of our conversation that has sense been whisked away by another's reality, and relish the friendship that we have. You are very dear to me, and I don't want to lose you. In my past, I nearly destroyed a great friendship with someone close to me by pushing him too hard for a relationship that didn't last. May I learn from my mistakes and be whatever you need me to be, and not just want I want us to be. Thank you for being a good friend, for being an example of open and honest conversation, and for just being you.
Sincerely,
Me
