A mechanical keyboard is great in many ways. It helps you type faster, increases your accuracy, and it also increases confidence in the human brain. Today, we will talk about the mechanical keyboard. A mechanical keyboard, essentially, is a keyboard that has small mechanical switches that respond to the clicking of the key. There are hundreds of switches out there, all good for various reasons. The most common switches are the Cherry MX switches. There are 3 mainly used Cherry switches. The first one, Cherry MX Blue. Being the most tactical one for typers, this switch is the best one to increase WPM. The reaction of the switch is fast and the key is sent back almost immediately. However, the main con is that the switch is extremely loud. If you ask me, don't use it in a library. It is literally a librarians' worst nightmare. Blue switches are not recommended for gaming because of the reaction times. Then, we have the red switch. This switch is really just for gaming. With a smooth response, this switch is not recommended for typers because of the slow reaction time. However, it is mainly quiet and it generally helps gaming. The last one, most recommended, is the brown switch. This switch is not too loud, but not too smooth for typing. It is recommended for all-round use, whether it be gaming or fast typing. The reaction time is in the middle of blue and red, so it is ideal. Many pro typists use this, like Glarses, John, and many others. That's it for now, and keep typing!
