Why not? Why IT is not suitable for girl? It've been told that girls should not study anything related to technology. Formerly, I used to think it was right. When I started applying for the university, I only knew about many familiar trendy faculties as Business Administration, Finance and Banking, Marketing or etc. On the contrary, Management Information System is so novel to me and yet, I study this major as a matter of chance.
Since the first subject, It has been difficult to get acquainted with new programming languages or complicated theory. I failed programming subject twice because I can not understand how to solve many complex code lines. Subsequently, the desire for my university scholarships as a motivation helps me study more diligent, try to learn from multiple documents or my lecturers and friends. During studying process, my team had lots of projects and sometimes we had to edit the details for assignments until 2Am. or gathered in the library from morning to evening for completion a presentation perfectly. Finally, I could get my university scholarship in that year. At that time I told to myself: if I try my best, I can do almost anything. Failure? Because the effort is just not enough. You better WORK HARDER!
The more I study, the more I realize the combination of Economics and Information Technology is so interesting and attractive. What we did by the backward methods over many years ago that took a lot of time but nowadays only a few seconds with mouse click. The impact of technology not only focus on the enterprise but also spread to the society. It helps us find each other, keep in touch through only a screen despite of the thousands of miles away. For these reasons, I want to try my best in the professional and creative tech-environment to build many worthy technology products and bring tangible benefits to improve human life and modern civilization.
