Ah, that sentence. Some of you may know where that comes from. It's raining right now. But it's raining somewhere else. Maybe like 30 feet in front of me. Outside. I just got back from a week-long vacation. I went outside to check on my plants. My already starting to make seeds sunflower was absolutely destroyed by the rain. I liked that sunflower. It was the strongest sunflower of my other five. It was one that I didn't want, but I let live as a backup. I thought it would die. Little did I know that all the others would be the ones that would die. I made a connection with that plant. It's like having a pet cat or dog—that connection. But with a plant. And it just broke my heart to see it destroyed. I felt bad. And sad. And I almost cried. But at least my musk Mellon was literally thriving. It was starting to take over yard land. It could be worse... I wonder if other people have special connections to plants.
