It was dark. The only thing that kept me aware of what was around me was the dim lighting of the lamp posts that stood either side of me. The road stretched further than my eyes could see, and the cold air wasn't helping much either. I was stood now in the middle of a barren road, down which no man or vehicle must have travelled in at least 4-5 years. Around me, there were shards of broken glass and rotting rubbish piled in heaps. The last thing I remember was taking my medicine and resting my head onto my soft pillow after pulling my duvet cover over me. I shut my eyes to sleep, but when I woke up, I found that I was in the middle of nowhere. Was I dreaming? Or was this real? How did I get here? The questions fill my head, and in utter exhaustion, I decide to take rest near an abandoned bus stop...
