Books are a treasure house of knowledge and a book stays with us like a good friend all the time. It just needs some care and apart from that it does
not want anything or any work from us. The book keeps on educating us throughout life. The book fair plays a significant role in the promotion of
books. Nowadays people love to hold or attend book fairs as they are beneficial. Since my childhood I love reading books so I had a great desire to go
to this fair. So my friends and I decided to go to a book fair and we went to a book fair with our parents. We went to the world book fair recently held
this year in New Delhi. I was thrilled to know that I am going to a book fair with my parents and friends. The second day was Sunday and on this day
all schools and offices are closed. We reached the book fair in the morning at around ten. This fair was organized in a vast place and there were more
than three hundred books shops in which different types of books were kept for sale. Being a Sunday the next day there were many people in the book
fair. I had not seen so many shops of books before in my life and I could not imagine seeing these many books together at a place. We went to all the
shops in the way and started looking at books. There were many books and on different topics like literature and history and language and science and
other subjects that were available at these shops. These shops had very informative books but I was very much interested in science and maths books.
So I bought two books on science and a book on maths and my friends bought books of general knowledge and stories. My mother loves regional
books and bought two regional books and my sister is interested in art and drawing so she bought a few books on art. My father is not interested in
reading the book so he did not buy any of them and helped my mom and sister and me in buying books like Geeta book and a book on ancient
religious text. In the book fair people can sit at a resting place and read the book before buying them. In that book fair there were up to fifty percent
discount on books of some interesting stories so I also bought books of some stories. This made every one of us very happy. The book fair was in a vast
field so we were tired of walking. Some tea or snacks and ice cream shops were also present in that book fair. We had ice cream and snacks there and
my father and mother had tea and snacks there. The books that we had bought from the book fair were beneficial and informative to me. The
memories of this book fair will always remain a good memory in my mind. Book fair is just the best place if you are a reader. As books are our true
friends and we always get enlightening and educative information from them. So never throw or tear away any book because knowledge always
remains in them
