1. Refer to advertisement on LDC recruitment at 7002 EME Bn in Employment News date

2. With reference to your application for the above mentioned recruitment, it is brought to your notice that you have submitted a caste certificate issued by the Sated of Delhi in support of your claim under the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. However, it has been observed that your permanent address as recorded in your application falls under the Sate of Haryana.
3. In this regard, it is further noted that the Government of Haryana has not notified any caste under the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. This raises a question regarding the admissibility of a caste certificate issued by one state when the permanent domicile of the candidate lies in a different state.
4. In view of the above, while you are being permitted to appear in the written examination provisionally, it is hereby made clear that your candidature under the ST category remains subject to verification and final decision by the competent authority. The competent authority has been requested to examine and clarity the admissibility of caste certificates issued by a state other than the state of permanent domicile of the candidate.
5. You are advised to take note of this observation and be prepared to produce any additional documentation as maybe required by the competent authority at a later stage. Your provisional permission to appear in the written examination shall not be construed as final acceptance of your claim under the ST category.
