Huy woke up one morning and walked outside onto the path in front of his house in Quang Ninh province. He looked up into the sky and felt a strange feeling. He looked around and saw people scurrying about, packing the trunks of their trucks with all their belongings. He quickly returned inside his house and he turned on the TV. He saw “Tsunami to hit Halong Bay” and the TV showed crowds of passengers evacuating cruise ships and ferries on the port of Halong Bay and people crowding on the train platforms, trying to escape by railroad. Huy thought his house was in danger too because it was close enough to the harbor.
He went to his room and then his garage to gather some belongings and then packed his van and drove off. It started pouring rain, as he drove as fast as he can through the streets. But as he was driving, something strange happened, a frog fell on his windshield. He stopped his car to see how that could have happened. But another frog fell, hitting him in the head. He then realized it was raining frogs! Hundreds of frogs fell from the sky. He got back into his vehicle, put on his seat-belt and sped off. As he drove further down the road he had to slam on his brakes because of a huge traffic jam. He couldn’t drive any further. He saw people running under the tunnel nearby and he followed them. As he was running he looked up and saw a helicopter flying high above him. Lightning struck the helicopter and it came crashing down onto the ground in flames. Lightning then struck the ground right by him nearly hitting him. He finally arrived safely under the tunnel and let out a deep breath. But just then the ground started to shake and the pavement started to split, causing a huge abyss right under the tunnel. Huy tried to run away but he couldn’t escape as the ground around him crumbled and he fell into the abyss. As he fell he thought “Well this is how it all ends…” and finally he slammed violently onto a rock.
Suddenly, he woke up in his bed and tried to catch his breath. “It was just a dream” he thought. He heard a noise and looked outside the window. He saw a frog on the ground.
