Our life starts with sports and it is essential to keep our brain and body healthy. I love playing cricket. In our country India almost every sport is played but
the most popular of these is cricket which is liked by the age group of young children to older men. Whenever there is a big cricket match the match is seen by
thousands of people on big TV screens with full joy. Cricket games are played mainly in Asian and European and African and Australian countries. Cricket
started in the country of Great Britain. The first cricket match was played on eighteenth June seventeen forty four between Kent and London. With the
expansion of the British Empire the game began to be played in foreign countries like India Australia and New Zealand etc. In the nineteenth century the first
international match was organized by the ICC Cricket Club between two teams of ten members each. As the game of cricket was born in Britain the game was
started in India by residents of England. In the early days cricket was played only in India by the King and the people of England but after independence it
was played by everyone. The first cricket institution of India was the Calcutta Cricket Club. A professor founded the Indian Cricket Club under the name of
Presidency College Cricket Club. Our country has won the World Cup in nineteen eighty three and two thousand eleven. The game of cricket is played
between two teams of eleven players. Each team also has four extra players to replace with the hurt player whenever needed. There are two judges of the game
to decide the game that is known as the umpire. And there are a total of three umpires. The third one is observing or watching the match outside of the field
who makes the decision by watching the video under special circumstances. The toss is done by an umpire to start the game. Whichever team wins the toss
decides on its own whether to bat or bowl. After toss match starts and two members of the batting team stand on either side of the pitch and all the members
of the bowling team stand to stop the ball in the field then one of the bowling teams throws the ball towards the batsman. The batsman strikes the ball with the
bat and takes a run or hits a four or a six. This is a turn by turn for both teams. Team plays until all the over or all the batsmen in the team are out whichever
team scores more runs is declared victorious. Cricket has many different types or it is being played in many different ways like One Day and T twenty and
Test Matches and International championships etc. The game of cricket is very lovable and good. Everyone likes to play and watch this game matched on TV
and Mobiles etc. In the past Sachin Tendulkar the great player of India has taken this game to infinite heights. Earlier only a few people from a select country
played it. But nowadays everyone likes to play this game that is why children will be found playing cricket in every street of India. This is how we should keep
playing all sports and stay healthy.
