Park Jin Kam, the twenty eight year old Korean celebrity, has gained tremendous popularity from acting in the TV show Portrait of a Young Man over the last three years. The TV show is among the most famous on cable TV in Korea and also gained a huge following in Vietnam as well. The show depicts a fictional story about a Korean male high school student who plays the drums in a popular band and falls in love with a mysterious new female student.

Rumor has it that the mysterious man is actually Jin Kams co star in the show, Lee Woo Jin, who has a more minor role as the flute player in the band that Jin Kam also drums in. After reviewing one of the most popular scenes from the show, where Jin Kam and Woo Jin get into a physical altercation, it is clear that there was some extra touching going on there.
Park Jin Kam has made no comment on the rumors yet. However, action has already been taken by Hite, the famous beer brand in Korea, who has fired Jin Kam as their main sponsor, which seems like a reasonable action. We are not sure how the rest of the world will react to this information. Will this forever be a stain on Jin Kams record. Or perhaps this will start a new trend in Korea involving holding hands and pottery stores. Who knows.
