I would rather call it Hindu wake up instead of extremism.It was a need of the time. This community has faced a lot, they have been forcefully converted killed, their daughters raped and a lot more. Nobody was serious about the issue, and a politics of appeasement was on the peak. They were feeling like second citizens in their own country. So, a parallel ideology had to come and it came as well. The RSS came in the field and worked for them. It is not a sudden change. They have been working for a long time. It took them too much of time to form the government. But right now they are in the power and the whole opposition has no option to present in public. There was a time when most of the Hindus were secular but today the time has changed. Hindus are learning that secularism is right till it doesn't means cowardliness. Hindus were never cowards, they had lost the battles just because of this secularism. They had lost their land just because of this secularism. And now most of them are not secular anymore, and the reason for this is not the RSS. The reason is the parties who were enjoying the politics of appeasement.But this change is a good thing, at least for Hindus it is the only way to save their existence. They will not be raped, killed and converted anymore because they know how to answer and this time they are ready as well.
