He was very old. Every morning he used to wake up and meditate on God and then beg for alms. Before going to bed, they would hang the remaining food of alms on a herb and wake up in the morning and fill the stomach with that alms. But for some days his remaining begging was disappearing. At first they understood that they might have forgotten to keep alms at night. But when this continued to happen every day and this sequence continued for several weeks then Fakir Baba got upset. One day they decided that today they will definitely catch the thief who eats their food secretly every day, thinking that he kept awake that night. In the second half of the night he heard the call of someone in the hut. He became alert as soon as he called. They lit the lamp. There was no one in the entire hut they were surprised when they looked at the eating herb. They saw that a mouse jumped and climbed into the food bag and got busy eating.
