In a world dominated by snack culture, home-cooked meals have been replaced by whatever is fast and convenient. People seem to choose the unhealthy options like potato chips, candy, and Little Debbies; rather than the healthy alternatives like fruits, vegetables, snack nuts, and chip alternatives like popcorn. Too many people focus on the macronutrients and they don't focus enough on the micronutrients. Your macronutrients are your proteins, your fats, and your carbohydrates. Your micronutrients are the vitamins that are in food today. Grapes are an example of a good, healthy snack. They contain antioxidants that block cancer, reduce inflammation, decrease cholestrol, and decrease blood sugar. They contain natural sugar rather than the artificial added sugar that are in many foods today. Another good example of a healthy snack would be broccoli. It has an extremely low calorie, and its chock-full of nutrients, especially vitamin K and vitamin C
