I created an account on 10fastfingers to improve my timings on Colemak. I came from a long history of QWERTY usage, switched to DVORAK (for about a month) upon learning that it helps ease the load on fingers but did not like the amount of stress it put on the weak fingers on the right hand.
I'm currently into Colemak for about seven months now, and can comfortably use it as my daily layout (thanks to keybr). There are still a few tendencies to reach for keys as if it were QWERTY, but that's slowly getting ironed out. It's beginning to be difficult to type in QWERTY without looking down at the board, so that may spell trouble when I'm working in an environment that only has QWERTY. The comfort from using Colemak outweighs that though; I'll see how things spell out in a couple of months' time.
UPDATE: Colemak is working out really well, though at the cost of QWERTY.
