sometimes I ponder why james is as lazy as his pomeranian dog named jessie. are human traits passed on to their pets? he is not an obedient son and jessie does not listen to human commands. she acts in her own accord and she eats and sleeps and pees and poops whenever she wants to, whether it be in the house or in her little small cage. but then again, james is in his teenage stages of adolescence so it is expected that he is a rebellious child who does not obey his parents. is jessie his spirit animal or is james jessie's spirit human? will we ever know? we do know, however, that jessie and james are fated to be together because they happen to have the same names as the iconic duo in pokemon.
