Accused of rape in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh, the victim threatened to commit a major crime in the Unnao case when he testified in court. The accused had recently been released from jail on bail. On Wednesday, they placed threatening posters outside the victim’s home. The victim’s family complained to the police. They have registered a case against the accused and arrested. The police also provided security to the victim.The case relates to a village in Baraut area of Baghpat district. The victim went to Mukherjee Nagar in Delhi to study in January 2018. The only person from the village lived at Sorn. On 8 March, Soran took the victim to a friend’s rented house on the pretext of giving some notes. Here he raped a person in cold drinks by mixing intoxicating pills and started blackmailing videos. In July 2018, the victim filed a case against the accused at Mukherjee Nagar police station.Police arrested the accused Soran and sent him to jail, but he soon got bail. The case is going on in the Rohini court. There is a testimony in court on 13 December. After the rape incident, the father also started living in Delhi with the victim. All other families live in Barot. The whole family is in panic after placing threatening posters at home. The victim and his father have returned to their village. In the case, the victim’s grandfather complained to Barot Kotwali.SP Pratap Gopendra Yadav said that they registered the case of rape in 2018. The victim and the accused belong to the same village. They granted accused Sorand bail in the rape case. Police have arrested Soran, registering a new case. They give the victim protection.
