Hello. My name is Nick and these are some tips that I've found help me type fast. First, you must have good blood flow to the hands. Avoid caffeine and other stimulants as they can pull blood away from your fast little fingers. Don't believe me? Well you better believe me because it's the truth. Would you like another tip? Be sure to stay a word or two ahead when you're typing and use your short term memory to remember the word you're suppose to be typing. The mental game is equally important when attempting to increase your typing speed. The slightest distraction, whether it's visual or sound, can throw you off your game. You don't want to be thrown off your game because then you will become mad and who knows what that can lead to. Here's another part of the mental game. Keep that mind of yours completely clear and focused on those words you are reading. If you think about screw ups or how you are automatically hitting that space bar without even thinking about it, then you will slightly pause and be like "ahhh geeeeze."
