Enjoy this typing test! Hopefully my grammar is okay!

Everyday since I moved in, I felt weird, to say the least; I felt as if something was watching me, even though I live alone. The only time someone comes over is when my mother comes down from New York to visit.
And all those days--everyday--when I look down the hallway, I somehow see a pair of red, glowing eyes glaring into my soul. But, I'm sure it's just a trick of the light. Right...?

Today was one of those days where I'm not alone, my mother came down, once again, to visit. It's my second week in this new house, and that feeling is back.
I opened the front door for my mother, her warm smile lighting up my soul, burning the fire of my love for her more. Her feet made it inside, as well as the rest of her. She shut the door behind her, locking it as well. She always made sure the door was locked.
She turned around and hugged me tightly, her arms like a cozy blanket.
"Oh, my dear! How I missed you and your sweet face!" She said excitedly.
I gave a small, but forced, chuckle, "Heh, missed you too."
She backed away from the hug and pinched my right cheek, the one with the scar on it.
"Let's have a chat, hm?" She suggested, bringing her hand back down to her side.
Before I could respond, she went over to my living room, which was built next to the dining room, and sat on the light tan leather couch which I got to call mine.
I sat down next to her, my gaze falling to the hallway, the one where those eerie eyes were.
But, to my much surprise, they weren't there; they were gone, my stare being met with the normal hallway things.
My mother followed my gaze, and her face went pale, her eyes losing the liveliness they usually possessed.
"Mom, are you okay?" I reluctantly asked, not really wanting to know the answer.
She passed out, her eyes falling closed, her body going limp. My eyes widened with concern, surprise, and fear. And her eyes, they turned into black holes, with nothing but pitch darkness.
Then there they were, the same eyes I saw down the hallway everyday. But, instead of them being worn by the hallway, they were being worn by hers.
And the last thing I remember is her eyes glowing bright.
But then it turned black. There was nothing, not even my own consciousness.
It's been 168 years since this happened, and I don't know where I am. All I do know, is that I'm not alone.

    And he's coming for me.
