Welcome to 10fastfingers. In this text, I will give you a brief introduction on 10fastfingers. What is 10fastfingers? 10fastfingers is a website that you can compete and practice typing words to improve your speed. Anyone can take the original typing test, and take some text practices. You need to be signed up for the website to do things like make your own texts, join competitions to save your score, take exercises, leave feedbacks, and join the forums. Creating an account is very easy, you can choose to do it however you want. Through facebook, twitter, etc. Or you can just make an account and not tie it to anything. I am not a social media person, so I just created this account. Once you have made an account, you can do plenty more with 10fastfingers. You can earn achievements. Look at your profile and the top right hand side should show all the achievements possible to earn. Your profile page, you can have a description, saying anything you want. You can share any additional information if need be, but what is permanent is when you signed up, how many words you have typed since you have been on, test and competitions taken, and when you last logged in. You see that most people have pictures on their profile. If you are wondering how they do that, you have to sign up for what is called gravatar. It is a real easy site to sign up for. All that is needed is your name and email. Once you have signed up, you can upload your photo to the website, and it should automatically show up on 10fastfingers. As for visitors on your page, occasionally you may have visitors on your page. I visit some peoples profiles as well. If I like their texts mainly. I am a text writer here myself, so if I like your text, I may very well visit your page. Fortunately for us all, a lot of people have really good texts on here. It dosen't matter if they were created, or copied from another story. To create a text, just click on text practice, there should be a green tab that says create text. Click that, and type whatever is on your mind basically. You can also rate texts. Rating is real easy to do. Once you complete them, you will see the rating on the right side of your screen. Just mousing over, you can see the rating scale. Rate what you feel and you done good as a 10fastfinger citizen. Most people puzzle what the advanced typing test is about. You do need an account to participate. Once your account has been created, you have to take at least 10 normal typing tests before you can attempt the advanced typing test. Want to see your progress? Look at your profile, and you can see the graphs of your progress. 10fastfingers has a pretty accurate chart. Well that is my introduction to the website.
