There have been some matters related to faith in India which have been sub-judice for a long time. In such cases, conflict between law and faith has been seen many times. In fact, so far a lot has been done on the basis of social and religious beliefs in matters related to the faith. Just as the entry of women into the Shabarimala temple is forbidden, the dispute continues despite the Supreme Courts order in the Shani Shignapur temple. One reason for this controversy is not only the mentality of men, but many women also consider such compulsions to be right and are not happy about the entry of women in some places. There is no religious compulsion anywhere in the Indian Constitution. Nor has there been any restriction on gender discrimination. It is worth noting that all these matters are related to faith and women and in the past, the nine-judge bench of the Supreme Court had also heard it. During this hearing differences had also emerged among the lawyers related to various matters, after which the lawyers gave the right to decide the issue of hearing from the Supreme Court itself. Apart from the Chief Justice in this 9-member bench, Justice R Bhanumathi Justice Subhash  Justice  Justice Ashok Bhushan Justice L Nageswara Rao, Justice  Justice Nazir and Justice Suryakant.
There are many other temples in the country, including Shani Shingnapur temple where women are considered barred from entering. These included Kartikeya Temple in Haryana  Ghatai Devi Temple in Maharashtra, Kirtan Ghar in Assam called Vaishnava Math and Indira Gandhi was also barred from entering here. Apart from this women are also barred from entry into Bokaro Mangal Chandi Temple in Jharkhand  Mavli Mata Temple in  Mata Temple in Odisha Kamakhya Devi Temple in Assam Avadhoot Devi Temple in Kerala and Sabarimala Temple. The Supreme Court had ordered the entry of women of every age group into the Sabarimala temple on 28 September 2019. The court in its order termed the ban on the entry of women between 10 and 50 years in the temple as gender discrimination.
After the Supreme Courts decision on Sabarimala, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court in the year 2021 to lift the ban on the entry of women in mosques. Pune petitioner Yasmin and her husband  Ahmad Peerzade had filed this petition urging Muslim organizations such as government officials and the  Board to allow women to enter all the mosques of the country and offer prayers. Let us tell you that women can enter mosques coming under the  organization in India, but there is a ban on the entry of women in mosques of other sects including Sunni.
