I thought I'd make a text to practice that has a bit more punctuation, symbols & that kind of thing than usual...
First, I'll add a quote or two:
"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"
- Dr. Seuss
"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe"
- Albert Einstein
I don't really know how to use all these symbols in a context that seems real-ish but I will give it my best shot:
Mathewson & Co. Lawyers recently had a new building constructed at an estimated cost of $4,569,000. This building is located at 214 Mystery Street, Wellington, New Zealand. You can find this firm on their website: www.mathewsonandcolaw.co.nz and email them at [email protected] (John Mathewson, the manager can be reached directly at [email protected])
Now, I don't really know what lots of these symbols are for so I'll just chuck them in somewhere...
{Fun brackets} - apparently these are called braces
[These are my favourite brackets but I don't really know when to use them]
Did you enjoy my punctuation (which, on second thoughts, actually doesn't have that much extra punctuation in it..)?
P.S. Please rate this text
