Mr. Fox lives underground, beside a tree with his wife and four cubs. Every night he goes to the farms of three wicked farmers named Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. He snatches chickens from the farms. The farmers decide to trap Mr. Fox. But they only succeed in shooting off his tail. The farmers then dig up Mr. Fox's burrow to catch him and family. But the family escapes by burrowing further down. The farmers decide to wait until Mr. Fox comes out of the burrow. They surround his burrow. Mr. Fox and his family and all the other underground creatures begin to starve...
