You could be comparing yourself to professional typists. The typists that get 100-200 word per minute on some tests. I'm going to say this now, you should only be comparing yourself to yourself. You can't magically become a professional typist in a day. It takes years. To type 100WPM is a really big achievement. If you type sixty word in one minute, then you should be really proud. Those who are typing twenty to thirty words per minute have nothing to be proud of, as they are beginners. As long as you practice every single day or as often as you possibly can, you'll see a dramatic amount of progress.

I remember when I used to type just forty words per minute. That wasn't something I was proud of, but I definitely was better than some of my friends at school. So they would compliment me and tell me that I'm really fast at typing. This is what motivated me to continue. So I practised typing for about four years and I've been able to achieve ninety words per minute average, and being able to get one hundred words per minute if I was lucky enough. The professional typists will laugh as they're typing this right now as keyboard warriors, but that doesn't bother me. I'm trying to show you that it takes time and patience to develop skills.

You have to have a starting point otherwise there is no path open for you. Once there is a new path you must walk that path until you meet the end. It'll be a long journey but anyone can take it.
So do your best and type really fast! Get from twenty to one hundred as fast as you can! Don't let anything stop you.
