Man is considered as the most intelligent and dominating species of the earth. He has used and overused most od the resources of the earth for his physical comforts and leisure, beside fulfilling his basic needs. During the last few centuries, man has developed various tools and technologies to exploit the resources of the earth on a very large scale. Now, the activities of man, due to increased industrialization. are compelling him to think seriously about the damage done to the various resources of the earth. It is the man who has polluted the environment and over-exploited the natural resources. It is the man himself who has to play a major role in the conservation of various natural resources both as an individual as well as the national and international level. Both government and non-government agencies have to work together. Our government has also enacted many legislations and laws for the control of pollution and the conservation of natural resources, including forest and wildlife.
